After we file your return, use these official links to track exactly where your money is, federal and Michigan state.

Federal refund

IRS Where's My Refund: irs.gov

Check federal refund

The IRS updates refund status once per day, usually overnight. Your refund status becomes available within 24 hours of e-filing. Most federal refunds are issued within 21 days of the IRS accepting your return.

Michigan state refund

Michigan Department of Treasury: michigan.gov

Check Michigan refund

Michigan state refunds typically take 2 to 3 weeks after e-filing. Processing times may be longer during peak season. The Michigan Treasury updates status information regularly throughout the day.

Your SSN or ITIN as it appears on your return

Filing status

Single, Married Filing Jointly, Head of Household, etc.

Exact refund amount

The exact dollar amount shown on your filed return

Not sure of your exact refund amount? Check your copy of your filed return. We always send you a copy through the client portal once your return is filed. If you can't find it, reach out and we'll resend it.

Direct deposit typically arrives 1 to 5 days after the IRS issues it.
